USPS Issues

The changes at the USPS are going to create a disaster for shippers this holiday as its defects have not only begun but it is getting worse. Packages are really slow, getting lost and more already.  So much so that at least 19 states and the DC District have sued the USPS.   Sellers please contact your WA reps and express your opinion. They do respond to contact from their voters.  I am not sure that eBay will respond to the defects that will be generated by this policy(s) changes. This is on top of our previous heads up about Fed Ex delivery issues. The new rate increases have already taken place while delivery slow down has also been put into place.   On top of all of this INR reports are up and increasing.

Are you sure you're not getting confused with the August of 2020 lawsuits regarding mail-in voting?

I'm not going to worry too much about things i have no control over that MIGHT happen.

But yes, i can understand your concern.

I don't have anything to complain about yet.

The last 2 years, I've had one package get delivered 1 day later, most are delivered early.

My solution for holiday delivery worries is to shut down my store the day after Thanksgiving for at least three weeks.  Or at the very least I will end about 400 listings before the December debacle.  I don't have any problems with my smalls.

I don't mail anything in a 1st Class envelope, or flat, so I am not concerned with the implemented slow down.

End of November I will go on "time away" to not be involved in a situation like last year.

You should try FedEx. I have had several packages coming to me that have been sitting in a FedEx plant just 15 miles from me for over 2 weeks. I wouldn't ship anything FedEx until they get their act together, that's for sure. And the Holidays aren't even close to beginning.
