USPS Is Sending Package to Wrong Address?

I recently purchased a Montblanc pen. Yes, the expensive fountain pen that runs $300. I got this one used for a very good price, so imagine my frustration when I check on Informed Delivery... and USPS is trying to send it to Lititz, PA  and not my own address in Maryland. I have filed a missing package claim and put down an interception so that the package gets redirected to my real address. How long should this take? I've has USPS hand me a package that looked like it was put in a bailer, so my hopes are not high.

Sometimes packages get mis-routed.  There have been stories of cross-country adventures.

In the vast majority of cases, the package will redirect and make it to you.  It just takes some patience.
