USPS Ground Postage on ebay is wrong

I mail a dozen items or so a day.

I had a 3 ounce item that should have cost around $4 to mail within my state of GA.

In the shipping tool, it said the shipping price would be $10.20.  When I changed the weight to 1 pound the price went down to $8.

Something is wrong.  Anyone else have this problem?

What dimensions are you using and are you sure you had entered 4 oz and not 4 lb by mistake?

I agree with the other post: It sounds like a problem with package dimensions, perhaps a typo which means that you are incurring a surcharge for package length over 22 inches?  Also if the package is 1 pound or more, you get into Cubic rates, which can be a great savings.
