When printing labels, the USPS ground options such as "Retail" or "Parcel Select" have disappeared. The auctions allow you to select them to present them to buyers but then you cannot buy them at discount through eBay. This has only started happening when I was forced to switch to managed payments but I don't see why the payment method would affect something like this.
Ebay customer service's answer was to purchase them at the USPS site and then submit for a refund of the difference with Ebay. Of course, that's a gigantic pain to do with every auction.
I've seen many a thread with people having the same issue. I guess I'll just have to ship Priority Mail or UPS exclusively now and the buyer's are gonna have to eat the cost and here I sit hoping my items sell. Thanks, ebay!
Anyone else have solutions to the disappearing shipping options through eBay shipping?

Another option would be to purchase your Parcel Select Ground label through PayPal at
But Priority Mail usually costs only a little bit more than Parcel Select Ground. Especially right now when shipping services are overwhelmed and package deliveries are often delayed, it's probably prudent to only offer the faster shipping option.
Retail Ground has never been available online; by definition, it's the retail service that you can purchase at the Post Office counter. Neither Retail Ground nor Parcel Select Ground postage can be purchased through USPS's Click N Ship service, so the customer service rep's advice was worthless.
