USPS Ground Advantage not showing a discount when creating listing

When I create a listing and enter shipping information, ebay is no longer providing a discount for the most popular shipping method, USPS Ground Advantage.  Has there been an announcement from ebay regarding this or is it a glitch?  Just wondering if others are experiencing it or know what is going on.

I am having the same trouble! Every other carrier has discounted rates but for some reason they took it off Ground Advantage!

It was previously announced by eBay that USPS was "temporarily" raising the shipping charges for Priority and Ground Advantage, effective October 6. --

There was also an additional price increase on selected "rural" ZIP codes, effective September 16, which may effect the eBay discount through USPS. --

I would think it was that but I would also think they would just discount the raised prices. Plus, the discounts started showing again yesterday. Today? Nope.

I'm still having the same problem with Ground Advantage. On the mobile app the discount will show up if you apply the ebay suggested weight and dimensions, but if you edit the the weight by an ounce or dimensions by an inch the discount disappears.

My question is this….our old listings that showed discounted GA rates, done long before 10.06…are they automatically reverted to the non-discounted rates in our live listings?

In other words, we as sellers aren’t going to get caught having to pay the extra because when we go to print out labels the listings only reflected discounted rates (because I choose to give the discounted rates on my listings as a preference) so we sellers will pay the cost difference?

Not sure I’m making sense?
