UPS tracking status; "processing for delivery" but is scheduled for delivery today?

I was supposed to have a package scheduled for delivery today (was already mentioned when I tracked it online). The last upate it was is that its "processing for delivery" in the nearby UPS in my city. I know it should've been "out for delivery" if its gonna be delivered for today. And I didn't receive any notice nor the package today. Has anyone experienced this before?

I normal use USPS for receiving stuff, and this is the first time I got this certain update from UPS.

I found your article by looking up the same thing. I'm in the same situation! The only thing I found was that UPS damaged the box and that's why it's late. It will arrive a few days late. Hopefully this is not the case with our boxes. I'm going to call just in case.
