UPS and FEDEX and USPS

I use USPS almost exclusively. In the past, I used UPS for heavier, larger packages, and would have to drive about 20 minutes to the UPS facility to drop off.   Now that the USPS has Ground Advantage, I find cost to ship is about the same for both. But USPS has free pick up during regular mail hours. All I do is make an "appointment" (online) for pick up, and have my items at my front door for pickup.   My delivery postal carrier is wonderful...very dependable.  I always track my sent items, and, from my feedback,  items get to destination in 2-4 days, and my customers write "fast delivery".  I can't say much about UPS and FedEx (for eBay)...they charge for pick up, and I haven't used them for eBay in a long time.   However, I do have a UPS account, and used them  the few times when I had to ship many boxes for personal use...not eBay use. They were great those times.  FedEx...not used to ship.

Same experience with USPS. Occasionally a package takes a little longer, but not often.

UPS and FEDEX and USPS

USPS is available for picking up my items right from my house (mailbox) on a 6 day a week basis.

I sell "smalls" that are better priced shipping wise with USPS than with the others.

I am in the sticks. UPS and FedEx are not a good fit for me from the shipping end of things.

No surprise "after charges" with USPS labels.
