Large 10lb package, New York to Oregon.
PirateShip suggests UPS Ground (estimated delivery 1/21) @$17.74
Alternative: USPS Parcel Select Ground estimates delivery in 2-8 days @$17.83 (no idea how it gets to OR via ground in 2 days!).
Which is the least worst choice in the current shipping climate? I don't trust the estimates!

1.) You also need dimensions as some items that weigh 10lbs could be charged as a 60lb item.
2.) Check UPS and USPS website for pricing.
Note that the 2-10 days is generic information given and ALWAYS depends on where it's going and obviously, OR to NY would be much closer to the 10 days.
As far as the current climate; between weather and covid, everything takes 3 days to 3 weeks and NO CARRIER can or will guarantee anything and none is better than the other regarding these issues.

As already posted, make sure you put in correct dimensions. If both prices similar I'd go with UPS, which has $100 free insurance.

As noted in the other post, dimensions are important. For packages over 1 cubic foot (i.e., 1728 cubic inches) , USPS charges a "dimensional weight" rather than the actual scale weight. So although $17.83 is the correct price for 10 pounds, it won't be the correct price if your package is over 1 cubic foot. Likewise, UPS also uses dimensional weight.
IMHO you should worry first about getting correct prices based on package dimensions. Even then I'd be inclined to go with USPS because they don't have hidden surcharges; sometimes USPS tacks on extra fees later.
