Hello -
A small rant and question about what to do. This is not an Ebay purchase, but considering I buy on Ebay - it could have been.
UPS indicates my large (18 lb.) box was delivered yesterday - on the front porch. I, my husband, and loves to bark at all delivery drivers dog, were home at the time the box was supposedly dropped off. We live in a semi rural area, and our house is not visible from the road - so I can't see someone else driving up and grabbing a big box and driving off, without alerting the dog or one of us.
Of course, UPS is of no help - there is just the robot saying "contact the seller". And, it isn't the sellers problem! They got the box out the door and on its way.
We checked with our neighbors with no luck.
Has this happened to any of you and what did you do? Did your package ever show up? Was there some way to verify with UPS that they were indeed at our house? We have walked all over our property to no avail. There is a reflective sign with our address at our drive so the driver would know they are at the right address.

I've never had this happen. The only thing I can think of is to keep trying to reach a real person though UPS to see if someone there can help you resolve the issue. Try different times of day to ensure you reach a US representative.

Thank you! We checked with the houses on our street with no luck but (oh happy days!!!) the package was left at a home on another street - in front of their gate. They were wonderful enough to deliver it to us. Have no idea how it got to that home.....

I'm so happy to hear you had a positive outcome. It's nice to hear when things work out. You have honest neighbors looking out for you. That's good for you to know too.
