Trying to set up a shipping policy

I set up a shipping policy for media mail a few years back. Haven't been too active on eBay lately. Tried to set up a shipping policy for general merchandise. The site says I already have a policy for general merchandise -- which I probably do -- but it won't let me use it. When I click on "shipping policy" it only shows me media mail. Is it possible to ship stuff without a policy?

First of all -- that license plate you have listed can NOT be shipped as USPS Media.

You need to revise your listing, and change the "Shipping policy" method, to reflect USPS Ground Advantage instead of USPS Media.

You may need to scroll down your other "Shipping policies" to find your USPS Ground Advantage policy, or you may need to create a new Ground Advantage policy, which you can do during your item revision.

Check your shipping policies on this page:

https://www.ebay.com/bp/manage

Any shipping policy listed on that page should be available on the listing.

Trying to set up a shipping policy

I mentioned in my description that the item would ship by USPS ground advantage, not by media mail.  My frustration was with the fact that I could not use a shipping policy that I had already set up. The only option I was given was my policy for media mail. Thanks for your input. I'll keep trying to find a way.
