Trainers going missing and problems after authentication

Anybody else having trouble with EBay authentication service when buying 

I brought 4 pairs of Nikes mainly Jordan’s

1st pair - went though authentication and arrived with me in good time no issues

2nd pair - got returned to authenticate due to missing paper work and a lot of messaging, I managed to get them resent and received them.

3rd pair - very delayed, no tracking given  after leaving authentication had to open a not received case and got refunded without and reasoning from eBay as actually asked for item not refund. But later surprising trainer actually turned up.

4th pair - same as 3rd no tracking after being authenticated, open up case not received and got refunded again but been longer then 3rd pair so presume lost or who knows… also asked for item not for a refund, but got given refund with no reason.

probably has something to do with living in Jersey and not mainland U.K., lost total confidence to buy any trainers from eBay which sucks as Jersey you can’t buy from enough places on the mainland already as won’t ship here. 

just wondering if anyone else is having issues like this with authentication when buying trainers?

It seems that the Authentication is fraught with shortfalls. It's become that I feel sorry for both sellers and buyers. Dang.

I know the UK has an authenticity guarantee program, so I'm assuming that's the one that applies to you @markphuket? Were your purchases on .co.uk?

This is the .com discussion board, but I can tell you that we see constant reports of issues with the program here in the US, too.
