Tracking uploaded on time and validated

Greetings,

This might be a newbee question but am I missing a step in my shipping prosedure? I purchase my shipping lable through EBAY to get the discount, I leave a feedback for the buyer, then I personally take it to the PO and have them scan it in.  Am I to be uploading some tracking somewhere else?  I thought buying your shipping lable through eBay does it automaticaly?  Reason I ask is I was in the hospital for over a week and a few of my items did not go out in the one day shipping time period.  So I am now trying to get my "Tracking uploaded on time and validated" and my "Late shipment rate" back up to top rated.  It is at 90.14% and 4.68% but it sure seems to be taking time to climb back up.  I had been dropping some off in the package drop off slot within the Post Office that says the pick up time is 5pm.  But not sure they are scanning them all. This is why I like to go to my smaller local one and have the postal worker scan it in front of me.  Thanks in advace to maybe someone noticing if I am missing a step or not 🙂  Enjoy your day!  Dana

Sorry to hear about your illness and laid-up condition -- that will certainly effect your eBay stats!

Dropping it off in the post office box slot, or even at the counter, is no guarantee that your packages will be scanned on time (according to eBay's scanning formula).  Your best bet is to stand in line, either with your packages or your scan sheet, and have the counter worker scan each item or barcode.  And the earlier you can get it done (before 12:30 PST) the better.
