Tracking says shipping level created, hasn’t updated in 4 days

Hi there,

I have an item that was apparently “shipped” on 11/25 (day before thanksgiving) with first class package service and signature required. The seller is only located 2 hours away so I figured by 11/27 after thanksgiving it would’ve updated. It still hasn’t. I contacted the seller on 11/28 and asked about it and he said he dropped off two other packages at the same time and they were saying the same thing but just updated that morning. 
Do you think it’s possible it actually did ship? I would think being 2 hours away it would’ve been delivered Friday or Saturday.. it was a very expensive item so it makes me nervous being scammed

its only been one day since it was mailed.I ship plenty of packages that do not get scanned for a few days,friday was the only day since it was mailed.Thnaksgiving and staurday are not buisness days.

please have some faith in the USPS.they are excellent shippers,in these trying times a few scans get skipped.

I freqently drop off packages Fridays that do not get scanned until monday...thats just the way is

I was mailed out on Wednesday, I figured it would’ve registered a scan by Friday or yesterday at the latest. I have other packages in tracking through usps and their tracking has updated this early am at a new destination even though it is a Sunday.. hopefully by tonight or tomorrow there will be an update. Funny enough my debit card info was stolen two days after the purchase and the card has been canceled so if for some reason I did get scammed and request a refund, I’m not sure how that is even going to work since the card is cancelled.

It was just scanned at the next destination about an hour away. Not sure how it didn’t get there sooner but I don’t care lol just happy it didn’t get lost or not sent at all!
