Tracking numbers

I have purchased item recently and have been making payment since 5 days, the seller said its going to be send via ups mail and I saw from the ebay option that the item has been dispatched also the tracking number from ups been generate, but the question is that why the tracking is not changing..always waiting not being transit or what so ever, ? is the seller really send it or what?

There are a number of reasons a tracking number may not update, so it's difficult for us to guess why you're not seeing any updates.

Have you tried contacting your seller through eBay messages?

Your main concern at this point is the latest estimated delivery date of your purchase. If you have not received your package by that date, you may file a case for an "Item Not Received" (INR) in eBay's Resolution Center the next day. There is a link at the bottom of every eBay web page.

Most of the time, errors like this are the Post-Office fault. Copy the tracking number and go to the USPS or UPS (as needed) website and paste it in for a better update.

was your item parcel post/ parcel select or media. Those can sit in a bin for days before the postal service decides that there is enough dust on them and decides to move it to the next location....

UPS has started to prioritize shipments from the big A, leaving other packages to wait.

UPS doesn't deliver my packages from Amazon.
