Was watching a program about customs and they showed a pallet of packages at an airport in the UK. It was neatly stacked with a few boxes looking less well taped. The entire load was thrown on the ground for sniffer dogs to look for drugs. Thrown as in tossed, not gently or otherwise placed. Dumped would be a good description. Just pack and tape accordingly.

No surprise there. Someone here said packages should be packed and taped as if a 500 lb gorilla was going to be sitting on it after it's been dropped from a 20 story building. Maybe an exaggeration, but no harm in still thinking along those lines. Nothing is handled softly and tenderly.

Shoved off the pallet would not be an exaggeration. Many sellers already know this. I purposely don't sell internationally for this reason. They did not show them restacking the pallet but I'm sure it was as potentially damaging as unloading.

I once packaged an item so securely that it would have taken an elephant sitting on it to destroy it and wouldn't you know...they must have had an elephant on that truck...😂
Sometimes you just can't win! 🤣
