The post office general is about to make huge changes to the post office.

The postoffice is making huge changes, that will slow down mail.  The public is usually not aware. But in Des Moines Iowa a rally was held to alert the public. Planes will no longer be used for first class mail and several post offices will close. Employees want to let the public know.  For one month, the public can voice their concern.  Rachel Maddow show on Msnbc Friday night show, has the entire story of what is happening. I need this eBay job and I need the mail. After 26 years on eBay. I’m very nervous about this.

I am only going to offer UPS as a shipping option from the middle of Nov to whenever the UPS cutoff date is for ground shipments. I believe that most people will remember the fiasco last year and will be willing to pay the the additional cost for piece of mind.  I would rather not make a sale then have to refund purchases and lose money. I do not see Ebay offering any plan to protect purchases that do not get delivered on time.

 Also be aware that Ebay charges  $20.00 for credit card chargebacks  if the buyer contacts their credit card company for non receipt of their purchases. I really do hope that I am wrong and everyone has a good holiday selling season and the USPS turns it around.
