My eBay store sells many individual uniform patches that meet all the criteria for the subject program, with the exception of the ineligible "patches category". I am therefore, forced to use a forever stamp with no tracking for these shipments. This results in my tracking percentage being too low to meet top rated seller criteria. I would qualify but for this, so I lose all the advantages of top rated seller and this has been the case for 3+ years. I've chatted with an eBay rep with no success. Am I alone in this or can we do something about it as a group as has the sports card sellers? How do we petition dropping the category mandate and only require meeting the weight, dimension and other shipping requirements?

I am a top rated seller and I have no privileges that I know of for being one other than it says I am one when someone looks at a listing. If you cannot provide tracking then just forget about it and keep doing what you do.

I'm TRS+, but, the advantage is not that great...if it was, I would tell you. In fact, I have long wanted to go back to the old way, where I just used stamps. If I'm getting no sales, and I'm TRS+, what is the advantage?

" I am therefore, forced to use a forever stamp with no tracking for these shipments."
Who is "forcing" you?
You have the choice to ship as USPS First Class (now named Ground Advantage) Package, which includes tracking -- and your buyer should be paying the shipping charge -- not YOU.
Problem solved.
And no force involved.
