SpeedPAK Package landed on other side of US... should I be concerned?

I ordered a package from eBay to shipped to my house in California, and as I'm tracking the package it said it had a destination DC port arrival and departure in Monroe Township, which is apparently in New Jersey. Why would it end up at a DC facility all the way across the country? Should I be concerned about the package not making it to my residence?

That is just the entry port for the container ship coming in from that region.  Since it is an overseas package, the ship arrival will be at a major port and the parcels need to be sectioned out and transported from there.

Everything should be okay.
