I paid for a couple of books, and when I try to track my package on USPS it says my "Item Accepted for Initial Process". It has said this for since the end of July. What does this actually mean? Do I have anything to worry about?

Sometimes book rate is slow to update, When did you purchase the item? If the item was purchased on a weekend the sell may have printed the lable but did not ship for a day or two. I have ordered books in the past from thrift books and the sometimes take 10 days or so to receive.

The only thing you need to concern yourself about is the last estimated shipping date. I usually wait a week after that and if I still haven't received the item, I open an item not received case with ebay.

My feedback never said I received my books! I have received 2 of what I ordered, but not the other 3. Know what your talking about before you try commenting on something!

The book I am referring to was my first transaction. It shipped right on time, but has been at the same USPS station I figured to long, since I have received two of my other orders.

You should have an estimated delivery date in your eBay Purchase History file for the item(s) purchased.
An estimated delivery date will not show in the carriers tracking status report. eBay provides an estimated delivery date based on the sellers handling time - not all sellers have a 1 day handling time - plus the carriers estimated delivery time based on the shipping service the seller uses.

From feedback left:
