I had a doll listed who a neighbor saw and bought through eBay. She just came over and picked it up. So since it is not being shipped, how do I mark it so it doesn’t look like I didn’t ship it promptly.
sounds like a stupid question, but never had this before.

Replying to myself. Just marked it as shipped. Guess it was too simple.

When I had someone who wanted to pick it up....first they pay online and then they pick it up at some specific time frame.
The shipping refund if there was one should be a refund and you can do that on the item sold and paid for.

https://www.ebay.com/sh/ord/?filter=status%3AAWAITING_SHIPMENT&sort=-paiddate
click on the menu arrow and select Marked as shipped. Because there was no tracking involved, make sure that the neighbor, when living feedback, answers the question "Did your item arrive on or before ...and there is a date (or something to that effect), Yes.
I am not sure if ebay will ding you for 'shipping' without a tracking number or not. I presume you did not have Local pick up as an option in your listing.

You are good to go on the shipped.
It will just be one item that gets the "tracking not uploaded" ding that means little.
