So I'm trying to ship an item with Signature Confirmation, but when I purchased/printed the shipping label online it says:

Why wouldn't a signature confirmation be as good as, if not better, than a delivery confirmation in the event of a dispute? A delivery conf merely says your item was delivered but could have been snatched by a porch pirate. An actual signature from your buyer would only ensure they received the item.
BTW do your listings state you require a signature when shipping? I'm wondering if all of your buyers are aware in advance. For those who work all day, they would have to make an extra trip to the PO, plus it would delay the delivery for a few days for them to sign for the item.

Because Signature Conformation replaced the Delivery Confirmation. You don't need a separate Delivery Confirmation barcode.

Think of Signature Confirmation as an upgraded version of Delivery Confirmation (which USPS now calls tracking).
Looking through your feedback, I don't see any sales over $200. Why are you investing in signature confirmation? It won't provide any additional protection against buyer claims, and it might annoy them.
As noted in the other post, you should at least warn buyers that you plan to use it. Buyers whose work hours are the same as the hours that their local PO is open for pickups might choose to ship the item to an alternative address such as a relative or their workplace.

I would be comfortable with a seller shipping a expensive item under $750 with signature confirmation, may minimize the risk of a misdelivery, a stolen or lost item, well worth the inconvenience, but would like to know beforehand that the package requires a signature.
