Short Postage on eBay Standard Envelope Mailings

I collect sports cards and many of my purchases (mainly single cards) come to me with postage due because the seller did not abide by the eBay Standard Envelope limits/requirements.  I'm really getting tired of it.  I realize I could send the item back but most of the cards are needed to complete my collections.  Is there any way to correct this problem?  Maybe I will simply ensure the seller is shipping via first class mail (although I have been charged for first class postage and had item shipped using eBay standard envelope - unscrupulous seller).  Venting!

I would contact the seller and inform them that the package arrived with postage due. They should reimburse you for any extra shipping you had to pay to have it delivered. Does the envelope have a Postage due stamp on it? If so take a picture and send it to them.

Your only other recourse would be return for refund due to insufficient postage. I would think your seller would rather send you the .60 than deal with a return and refund....

If the Postage Due is because it's nonmachinable, it's only 40 cents.  The eBay Help pages about the physical criteria for this service go into great detail about dimensions, but are quite vague about "not too rigid."
