When i list my items i check the box that says free shipping and in my ad its says that the buyer pays for shipping. ????????

There seems to be problems in their system.  What you might be able to do is put $0.00 in your shipping area - see if that works.

Also - you might not be aware that one of your listings is showing free local pick up -

Vintage 1960's Pattern 9236 Prairie Farmer Pattern Department Woman's Dress

Buyers might not bid on it because they will think that they have to pick it up from you.   Might want to change the parameters on that listing as well.

For your listings that show $1.00 shipping, you need to REVISE each of those listings if you want to show FREE SHIPPING.  Select Flat rate-same price to everyone, and then input $0.00 and check the FREE SHIPPING box.
