I will need to ship something in a tube(or at least that might be the easiest way) via GSP to UK . Will there be a surcharge for a package 25" x 5" x 5" or does GSP of international standard deliver make that surcharge go away? Btw, it seems the new rules say the $15 surcharge will be for boxes bigger than 2 cubic ft.... is my box more than 2 cubic ft? Is there anything else to know about shipping a tube international as far as filling out the shipping form and will I be forced to ship it as an irregular package and get extras fees for that? I might just construct a square box around it if it will avoid extra fees.

You mention using GSP (Global Shipping Program), but your context seems to imply shipping direct. Are you for sure shipping with GSP or are you shipping with eISD (eBay International Standard Delivery)?
You'll receive different responses to your inquiry depending on which method you're using to ship. Shipping GSP means you only have to worry about the USPS surcharge for length going to KY (if that's the carrier you're using), but eISD has a different system for calculating rates.

In addition to the surcharge for packages over 2 cubic feet, there is a surcharge of $4 for packages with a length over 22 inches, and $15 for length over 30 inches. AFAIK, these surcharges apply only to domestic shipping, but that would include domestic postage to the Global Shipping Center in KY.
The volume of a package that is 25x5x5 inches is 625 cubic inches, which is less than one-half of one cubic foot.

It will be going GPS... so are you for sure that there will never be any of the new surcharges for GPS? Will GPS to Kentucky and then UK also eliminate any irregular box fees(assuming that a tube would ever get that extra fee at all)?

Which listing is it? I don’t see the gsp on your listings. You appear to be using eBay international standard, not the gsp.

Yeah, I looked at the Atari poster before, changed the shipping location to UK and it showed eISD, not GSP.

I don't know why it would be like that... are you sure? I checked off GPS for sure and no other option for shipping international. IT should be GPS for all international shipping. Anyone with thoughts on the questions I had in my last post?

GSP is known for repacking items in padded envelopes. Wonder what they will do with it?

You can check the listing yourself. Go into the listing and to the shipping /payments tab.
Change the location to the country it’s going to and click on see rates, when I do that I see EBay international standard. I dont know what they charge for irregular boxes but they charge by dimensional weight.
