I have a few items up for auction and I specify NO International Shipping. I'm also providing FREE SHIPPING in the US, for these items.
I've been asked if I would consider shipping to Canada? I would consider this, if the buyer would pay for shipping. How can I do this with the listing I already have in progress?
Thanks for any help

I ship to Canada through eBays International Shipping program. I charge the domestic shipping while eBay charges the buyer international shipping.
I ship to one of eBays domestic shipping hubs..then eBay takes over from there.
Any returns or refunds arise eBay handles it with no affects to my seller account.
But I believe you have to have a few sales to qualify.
If your listing isn’t an auction you can revise shipping to include Canada as to where you would ship to.

How much do your items weigh when packed? And what type of packaging do you use?

The reason I ask is because I use Pirate Ship. Using their simple export rate to Canada, you can ship an 8 ounce package for $9.49, and >8 ounce to 1 lb. package for $12.49.
So here is how it would work. Say your package is 8 ounces, max ground advantage to zone 8 is $4.44, so you could set your shipping price to Canada for $9.49-$4.44 would be $5.05. So free shipping in the US, and fixed $5.05 to Canada.

eBay international shipping combines the sellers domestic shipping cost to the shipping hub and adds on an international shipping cost. The least expensive I have seen to Canada is $10 in which case the seller had free domestic shipping and the item was small.
As a buyer, I would prefer to pay less and have a seller ship directly as the EIS does tend to have delays but as a seller I can understand why some sellers do use it. Shipping directly is not always less expensive though but since you use Pirate Ship's export rates, it sounds as if it would be less expensive

As far as adding Canada, you could revise your listing and add international shipping. It may default to worldwide but you can click on destination and then choose Canada. Then choose a service.

Thanks for all the help.
At this time I'm going to not consider shipping to Canada with these few listings. Maybe on my next listings.
