Shipping single order in two separate [ackages

I sold 6 very heavy album type books to a single buyer. All the books were paid at the same time with one shipping charge for all. I would like to package and ship these books in two separate boxes. I am handicapped and cannot carry one single very heavy box. How do I do this? How can I print two separate shipping labels, one for each box? Any suggestion as to how to handle this?

Do you print through Ebay shipping.  If yes, you see where it says PRINT LABEL?   Hit that for the first box.  When you are done, go to My Ebay again and look at the transaction. Somewhere below where you hit PRINT LABEL , you will see PRINT ANOTHER LABEL.     Hopefully , you can carry these boxes. If not,  see if you can schedule USPS to pick up the packages.  Goodluck.  Or maybe you can have a friend/neighbor help you carry the boxes to the post office.

It isn’t obvious, but it is pretty simple.  Just print a label as you normally would.  Then, go to the Seller Hub - Orders - Paid and Shipped.

 Then, go to the little drop down arrow next to your item, then choose “purchase another label.”

Carrying the boxes to the Post Office will not be much of a problem. My grandsons can help me with that. When I print my first label, I will be asked for the size and weight of the box. It will give me a cost. I print the label. When I go to print the second label, as per your advice,  I have to enter the information for the second box. illl eBay tell me that a label has already been printed for this order? And if I print this second order, will both labels have the same tracking number, or different?

Yes, you can and should enter the dimensions and weight of the next box.  Both tracking numbers will be associated with the purchase.  

it doesn’t matter what your buyer paid for shipping - you will pay the actual costs for the two shipments - your buyer is not affected.

In the future, if you need to ship in multiple packages then you need to account for that when you set up the listing. eBay will charge the buyer based on the information you enter.

Shipping 2 boxes isn't straightforward to set up. My general work-around is to use calculated shipping with info entered for the first box, then add a handling fee that will cover shipping for the second box. Or use calculated shipping with an inflated weight that's close enough to a rate that will cover shipping 2 separate boxes. (Then of course enter correct weight when you print each label.)

For this sale you charged based on combined shipping and if you lose money shipping 2 separate boxes then that's a lesson learned for next time.

I'm revisiting this question after looking at your listings @vilkau. You charged a flat rate shipping cost for each listing; none of those costs match actual ship prices, so I'm not sure how you determined them. If you didn't charge enough for shipping these 3 listings combined into 2 boxes, then you didn't charge enough to ship them as singles either.

You charged flat costs of $4.99 (approx 3 lb) + $6.99 (approx 6lb) + $7.95 (approx 7lb) Media Mail rates for the 3 listings. If the buyer paid $19.93 total then you should have enough to cover a single 24lb box.

Splitting into 2 boxes assuming you shipped the 7lb listing on its own then combined the 3lb and 6lb listings into one box, that's a charge to the buyer of $11.98 for a 9lb box. MM only costs $8.91 for a 9lb box.

Unless you left out some info, based on what the listings show you should have more than enough to cover the cost of 2 shipping labels.
