Re: Shipping question

No.  But you do pay a final value fee on the total of the order (item + shipping + tax) plus a 40cent transaction fee.  You can always look at your order details for the breakdown.

Re: Shipping question

You should be able to look at the transaction and see the breakdown.

I see no subtraction for fees and more fees in your equation.

Re: Shipping question

nope...

look at the detail of the sale here on this page to see what the "Net" of your sale was:

https://www.ebay.com/sh/ord/?filter=status:PAID_SHIPPED

Click on "View Order Details" next to the item listing

lower right has the details

you are forgetting the final value fees

You can also click on the Payout ID in the transactions window to see the detail of the "payout"

Re: Shipping question

Did you opt to promote your listing? If so eBay collected the promoted listing fee along with the final value fees mentioned above.

Based on what you've posted, no, you did not pay for shipping twice.

However -- most eBay sales are a lot more complicated than the simple math you've posted.

For one thing, many sales of athletic shoes do involve some sales taxes, which are paid by the buyer.

Additionally, more than half the United States also charge sales taxes on the amount of shipping cost paid by the buyer.

Sales taxes would mean that your buyer paid more than $65.00.

eBay charges Final Value Fees (FVFs) on the total amount paid by your buyer.
