Hey everyone. I ordered something very expensive from a liar seller. I waited two weeks for a shipping. I asked him many times to give me a tracking number and he gave me a tracking number - but he thought I'm stupid and can't check the tracking number - the package goes in totally different place. Ok, its international seller so the package should come in Februrary, but I cant wait so long to open a case.

I could open a case right now because he didnt ship my order but what if I open a case and he will give an invalid tracking number to ebay??? The case will be closed and I lose my money? Ok, even if he is gonna ship the package (I dont really think so) what if I get something wrong? May I open a next case?

I cant wait to February but I dont want to lose my money too because it was really expensive. Do I have to wait to February? I know I can open a case and cancel my order because the seller never shipped an item, but I'm afraid that then he gives a fake tracking number and ebay will close the case.

@lovingroger2020 Is the latest delivery estimate in February? You can’t open a case with eBay until February if that is the case.

what do you mean by “fake tracking number”? Sellers can’t fake tracking. Either they have proof of delivery provided by the carrier or they don’t. The seller won’t win a eBay or PayPal case unless they have tracking from THE CARRIER showing delivery to your zip code.

You can not open a case until after the expected delivery date. If you ordered something that stated it will arrive in February.... weeeelllll settle in for a long wait.

The estimated delivery time is in February. I waited two weeks for a shipping number and nothing. The item was never shipped. I asked seller and he gave me a tracking number to another city.

I want to cancel my order right now because seller will never ship an item and he lies all the time but I'm afraid that then he ships the empty package or something like that and I wont be able to open a case again.

I cant wait to Februrary and I don't want to lose my money. What can I do????? The seller never shipped my order and never gave ebay a tracking number. I wait two weeks so do I have to wait next month to get my money back? It's not a $10.00 item.

I can call to ebay and cancel my order because seller didnt ship an item - no tracking number etc, etc. I did it before. But I need to wait for respond and ebay will give him five business days for an answer. And I'm afraid that in this time he will give me a tracking number and ebay would close the case.

What if the tracking number will be invalid or he wont ship what I ordered? This is wg

Again, if the estimated ship delivery time is in February, he can take his time shipping. How do you know he's lying? February is in 2 months

Can the OP post the item number, or will this get him in trouble. Never know with ebay.

Something does not seem right with this listing. I have never heard of a delivery date that far in advance.

I meaned January, sorry. He lies:

1) he told me that the package was lost by the post office ( I heard this lie from a two different sellers last week).

2) he gave me a tracking number to another city, because he thought I cant check where the package goes.

Still no tracking number and still not even marked that he shipped it. He had two weeks to ship the package and he never did.

I can call ebay and request cancel an order but what then????

Its an international purchase so a 2 month delivery date is nothing unusual. I am surprised you have never heard of a delivery date that far out since you have been on ebay so long.

@lovingroger2020 Ebay has no policy that allows you to cancel a transaction just because you think the seller hasn't shipped. If the seller doesn't agree to cancel, you have to wait and file the item not received case once the package is past due.

The seller has 21 days of handling time. I understand because he lives in Asia and everyone know how USPS works especially before Christmas. Fine.

But I paid almost $1000.00 and he didnt ship an order or even give a tracking number. Nothing. I hear lies and lies that the package was lost by post office, that its in the custom etc, etc. Many lies. But when I wanted a tracking number he gave me a tracking number to someone else in totally another city and state.

@lovingroger2020 Ebay won't cancel the order for you. Please be patient and wait. You can open a case in January.

Did you see the estimated delivery date when you ordered? I understand you are worried about this seller since he has lied and sent you an incorrect tracking number, but you are covered by the money back guarantee. You need to read up on that. You will get your money back if he can't prove it was sent to you, but you have to wait until after the estimated delivery date.

I have sent diamond jewelry to Australia. Took a little over a week door to door.

I buy a lot from Germany, France, and even Japan. 10 days at the most.

So no I have never heard of something taking over 2 months.

Sorry. I make a lot of mistakes when I'm upset. It should be a Christmas gift and now I'm without a gift and money. I'm gonna call ebay tomorrow and request a cancel. If he doesnt agree I will open a case in January. I'm not afraid about money - I'm afraid that I get them back so late.
