Re: Shipping not through eBay

You don't have to ship through Ebay.

If you plan on shipping with just a stamp, you'll loose what little protection you have and if the buyer files an INR, you'll have to refund.

Have a great day.

Not a problem. I haven't lost anything last year and thus now using the USPS.

Tracking is for expensive items in my opinion.

Use a standard envelope with thin cardboard....bendable and under 1 / 4 inch thickness for .68 cents domestic.

Most buyers...checking their feedback...are honest.

Re: Shipping not through eBay

Two postage stamps should do.   However, an envelope offers little protection.  If torn the item could get printed when it's postmarked or the stamps canceled.   Also, you won't have tracking to show delivery.  Only chance it with a low value item.

If we're talking about the 1893 World's Fair handkerchief that just sold for $25, I'm not sure how your buyer is going to feel about receiving it stuffed into a regular envelope. I would suggest popping it into a ZipLoc bag to protect against moisture, and mailing in a padded envelope. That will give you tracking as well, so you won't have to refund in full if the buyer says that it didn't arrive. Good luck.
