Shipping label printed for my OLD return address and not new, will USPS still post it?

The sellers address is correct, however it printed my old Florida address (I'm in Texas now) on the printed USPS label. I thought I caught the mistake and hit the back button and changed it to the correct return address but when it printed it had the old one. The shipping cost is the SAME as if I had put my texas address (2.70). Will USPS still post this even though I'm states away?

Since the postage is correct, USPS will probably accept it regardless.  In addition, it's not the Return Address that counts, it's the Ship From ZIP, which is printed on the label just below the date.

You'll want to update your addresses with both eBay and PayPal.  There are several places at each where addresses are stored, so make sure you get them all.

Yes, the package will be delivered to the Ship To address on the label.  How would anyone at USPS know that the return address is no longer yours?

The only problem you might encounter is if the package is undeliverable then it would go back to the return address on the label - your old address.  If you have a valid forwarding order from that address it should eventually get back to you.  Just might take a long time.

You can void the label and create a new one with the correct information. The USPS refund for the unused label takes about 2 weeks. Or a much simpler solution is to paste a return address label with your Texas address over the Florida address. If you don't have any, then just create one in Word (10 pt or 12 pt font), print it on a piece of paper, snip with scissors and tape or glue it onto the paid label. It's better to show the correct return address -- consider that the intended recipient (did you mean buyer?) may not be expecting a package from Florida and may reject it. A more interesting issue is that there's no USPS postage amount of $2.70 for either First Class Package Service or Media Mail. Neither class of mail is zoned so the cost is the same to your neighbor or across the country. But the amount has to be correct, based on weight and class of mail. ~~C~~

You cannot alter labels.

In this case I wouldn't worry about it. I would correct the return address.

Ebays old system didn't have enough characters on the address line for the return address. My address was XXXXX Lafayette Township Road 509. It would leave off the 09. for years I wrote them in.

Of course the OP should then work to correct this problem.

You could have abbreviated Road.

At that time when I tried to abbreviate it it would claim it was invalid.

Your ship from zipcode has to be correct or within the same shipping zone.   You can not alter the label. If your item was returned , it would go by the information that is in the IMB barcode.  Your return information is part of the tracking, so writing something different on the label will not get it changed.
