Ebay is experiencing a glitch in shipping labels marking them as hazardous when they are not. Ebay is aware of the glitch and is owning up to it. Contact a real person at Ebay and they will void the hazardous shipping label and give you an instant refund. They will then ask you to print another label. See instructions below.
If your eBay shipping label says "hazmat" but your item is not actually considered hazardous material, it likely means there was an error in the listing process, and you should contact eBay customer service to have the label corrected; never ship a non-hazmat item labeled as hazmat as it can lead to delays and issues with delivery; always double-check if your item is classified as hazardous before labeling it as such.
Customer service will void the label for you and give you an instant refund. You will then print another label. Go to selling>Orders>Print another label. Underneath the box that says Is Your Package the Correct size? is a box that says This package doesn't contain hazardous materials. Choose edit to make sure it says this package does not contain hazardous materials.
Then print another corrected label.

According to eBay this problem is fixed, but you'll need to void your affected labels and purchase new ones.
To void a shipping label purchased through eBay, go to this page, find the order and select Cancel from the Actions drop-down. The cancel option is available for 28 days.
It takes between 2-4 weeks to receive a refund on an unused, voided label as the carrier wants to make sure the label isn't used. You'll see the refund on your original source of payment (eBay funds, bank, credit card, etc) and the funds will appear in your account without an email notification.

If you call Ebay Customer Service the agent will void the label and issue a refund immediately. Then you can print a new label.

Thanks for the heads up on the process you found.
I can void labels myself with a few clicks and can wait for the refund like usual. Contacting eBay is not an effective use of my time.

I called eBay yesterday. I tried printing another label making sure Hazardous material was unchecked. It still printed as Hazardous material. I went to the P.O. They said it will only take a little longer to arrive. The package has to use ground transportation only. I sent the 3 on their way and emailed the buyers. Hopefully eBay fixxes this crap.
