Hello! Long story short, I feel like I’m getting the run around from the seller. I have 2 different tracking numbers now and both are stuck at “shipping label created, USPS awaiting item”. He’s been in contact with every message right away, regarding when the package was sent and went it will be here. Told me he missed sending the package out because of Labor Day weekend, which is the first tracking number. Ok, now I sent him a message saying what’s going on and he replies right away telling me what happened and that he sent it 2 day priority on Sept. 4th. It’s the. 5th now and it just says shipping label created on the USPS website. Has anyone had an issue with this? Am I getting scammed? Original delivery date is Sept. 6th btw. What should I do?

Try to be patient and wait a few more days for your package. Priority Mail is not a guaranteed delivery service.

In addition, sometimes USPS is REALLY BAD about updating the tracking information. Seems like on some days, the updates do not happen until AFTER 12:01 AM Pacific DT! Have seen items "disappear" for a few days and then all of the old tracking info "pops up."
But if the seller has been FAST to reply to your emails, then that is a good sign. Be patient, you have protections here. Give things time to work.

There is no 2 day priority, just an estimation by the USPS that it will be delivered in two business days. As another shared, priority mail delivery dates are not guaranteed. I've had cases where it took several days after an estimated date to arrive. The only delivery guarantee would be express mail which is super expensive. They probably canceled the first label printed, which wasn't necessary, but is why you have two numbers. Some post offices are better than others in doing an incoming scan. There are other cases where until it is delivered, there is no scan. So at this point I would just be extra patient. If it turns out to be a scam, you have plenty of time in which to file a case.

If you are clicking on the tracking number from your ebay account, that may be the problem. I sent a buyer an item and 4 days after getting it scanned in, it still said it hadn't been. When I went to the USPS site and tracked it, it showed it was out for delivery.
So, if you haven't already, try going to the USPS website and manually type in the tracking number there.
