I ordered something on Sunday June 18th at 5pm EST and there was no activity such as a notif about it shipping for a few days, then I got a message from the seller Thursday June 22nd saying USPS lost his stock of the item and would ship out Friday and asked me if I wanted a refund and I replied asking if he meant it would be shipped out to me Friday or if he meant it would arrive Friday and he responded saying it would ship Friday. I asked him if he'd just refund me the shipping cost only because I thought that'd be fair. He didn't reply to that message and it arrived Monday June 26th.

He deleted the item off ebay so I can't leave neutral or negative feedback about the experience with him. Lol, sneaky.

If I contact ebay customer service is there anything they can do about this? Or am I stuck not being able to leave feedback of my experience on his seller page? Return is out of the question because I'd like to keep the item.

Sometimes no feedback is better than posting a problem with the seller. After all, everyone can and might read your feedback. I wouldn't buy from the seller again. Customer service will agree with you and probably won't do anything else...other than agreeing with you.

I find it strange a seller can remove an item off eBay so you can't leave feedback. I never heard that before. Now, a seller can have eBay remove feedback from a buyer who used words or wordage that is not allowed or eBay can do it themselves.

Sellers can’t delete sold items. Sold items generally are kept on eBay for at least 90 days. If you can no longer find the item than it was pulled by eBay for some sort of violation.

But if you’re happy with it that’s great. Feedback wouldn’t be possible if eBay pulled the listing.

Thanks for letting me know. I contacted the seller again and he did say it was ebay that removed the listing, not him and he said he ebay wouldn't do anything and laughed.
