I've been an ebay seller for a while but all of a sudden whenever I want to offer "free shipping" or a specific shipping charge, the listing just keeps defaulting/changing to calculated shipping. I've even tried putting "0" in the shipping charge, but when I save and preview it still shows as calculated shipping.

I'm just guessing since I can't see your account...
Are you using Business policies? If so you may need to create one for free shipping. Otherwise it will defaut to your default shipping which is most likely calculated shipping.

THANK you so much. I do not use business policies (I'm not even sure when that feature/option showed up / if it is relatively new?) But I just "opted out" and now I can list with free shipping as before. I really appreciate your help - I was so frustrated !

business policies are required
there are three of them and they are shipping , returns and payments
if you go to the business policy page you may be surprised at how many you have
every time you make a change in shipping you have to give it a name or you are supposed to
you policies are chosen from the list when you make a template or edit a template
