Morning y’all. I have a concern and would appreciate some clarification if possible.
ok so I sold an item and with shipping the total was around 140$ shipping was 25$ and fees 16$ or close to that. Ok so I ship fed ex, having already purchased the label just needed it boxed and sent. The measurements needed to be below 24” length. Mines was 22”, Weight under 150lbs mines was 16lbs. So far I’m thinking everything ok. So I tell the employee I need it boxed and had label. He got box and asked me to email label. He prints it out, looks at it, and places on box. I ask if everything looks ok as I didn’t want any issues. He stated “no looks great 👍 “ I leave. Couple days go by I check to make sure it’s delivered, it was and sale closed, so I thought. Next day I open my eBay app to see -81.56$… ummmmm ok. I research and see it states shipping label for the item that was just delivered and boom added another 81.56 so basically 82+25=107$ Right!? Awesome so basically I have given away a 100$ tool .. I chatted with rep she stated claim was put in on my behalf for refund. Cool. But now was charged to my bank and well in the red ..
so after choosing the label in the eBay discounts options (also stated with that label it was like 80% discount) did I miss something ??
Ok chose the label and even asked the fed ex employee if it was legit. How am I still being charged after the fact? I followed the guidelines and even when in store to make sure I did correct.
does anyone have any advice on my next move as I’m a bit confused and my anxiety is peaking. Any and all feedback would be greatly appreciated
