I feel like I'm being charged for shipping even though my buyers pay... they numbers just feel wrong ?

@micmat6235 Change to Calculated shipping and be accurate on the weight and dimensions. If you use USPS First Class or Priority Mail shipping methods you will get a discount off the label cost. That will help defray the cost of the Fees you are paying on the Paid shipping by the Buyer.
Keep in mind that based on the number of shipping zones away from you the actual cost to ship will go up.

The buyer pays you for shipping and then you are charged when you purchase the label.
By numbers feeling wrong do you mean that you feel you should receive more from ebay after fees than you do? If that's true, can you give an example so that someone may be able to help?
We would need the total paid - item, shipping plus tax.
The location of the buyer as in domestic or international
The amount of the shipping label if you purchased it through ebay

If you can give an example or just more details, we can better advise you. No one here can see your account, so we rely on your info in order to assist you.

You realize that the BUYER pays YOU, the SELLER, for the shipping cost, and that YOU, the SELLER, then use that money to pay for shipping.
Example: I buy your widget for $15 plus $5 shipping. I pay you $20. You use $5 of that $20 to pay for the shipping label.

"Numbers feel wrong" doesn't give us much to go on.
If you will give an example, maybe we can help.

Your 'feelings' are correct. You ARE being charged the shipping.
You put what the shipping cost is when creating a listing (even using the ebay 'calculated' shipping instead of you inputting an amount is STILL YOU inputting a shipping cost).
You are then paid that amount, along with the price of the item, and then eBay takes their cut and you are left with $X.
Out of that $X, YOU then buy/pay for the shipping label.

Hi again @micmat6235 ,
It has been two days since you posted your concern. I hope you are able to find this thread to get your answers or as some have asked, provide an example. Buyers pay for everything including shipping then YOU have to buy the label to ship it to them. If there is some part of selling on eBay that you do not understand please ask ...

I am an ebay seller and was very disappointed to learn that when a customer agrees to pay freight, ebay takes a portion of that as well. As an example, we sold an item for $550, the item was heavy and buyer agreed to pay shipping of $894 to Alaska. Ebay not only charged 11.7% ($65) fees for the sold item, but they also took 11.7% ($106) off the shipping fee? That $550 item ended up selling for less than $379? Isn't that double dipping?
