I sold an item yesterday and I went to print the postage and there was an error message "zip code not found" I contacted the buyer and no response.
The address is in Puerto Rico. What should I do at this point?

No response from the buyer? I guess you could cancel the sale due to an invalid shipping address.
This should refund the buyers money and give you credit for any fees, so i've heard.

Thanks so much! I will wait one more day and then cancel If I don't hear.
Thanks!

It might be a correct address (after all, the guy lives there) but rendered in a slightly incorrect format that the USPS system can't parse when validating the ZIP code. The USPS has some explanation of Puerto Rico addressing on their website here:
https://www.usps.com/ship/preparing-domestic-shipments.htm
Scroll down to "Tips for Preparing Shipments" and expand the "Puerto Rico & Virgin Islands" article in the right-hand column. That in turn will link to this additional USPS page of Puerto Rico address examples:

See if your problematic address just needs a little tweaking in some way. You won't lose seller protection by simply correcting what you've got, because you are not changing the destination.
