Shipping address change

I would let the buyer know you will cancel the sale and refund then re list so buyer can purchase again with correct address, but that is just me and you will have to eat the 0.30c fee

I never ship anywhere other than the address provided with payment.

Do not do this;

You must send it to the address on file: no changes to be covered.

Cancel sale due to address: have them correct their address: you relist the item after: and they may get to repurchase it.

Note: if it not much money you can gamble the change: if you are willing to loss of item and money.

Another possibility: Just print the label and then make the change manually on the label.

I am with Don’s Detour in this issue. If there is anything I have learned in the over 10 years selling on here is that you NEVER change an address even by 1 digit on here. Scamming are using address change tactics to get free merchandise when it is delivered to the wrong address not posted on the account. You cancel the sale due to address problem then contact the buyer and get them to change the address on their acct then repurchase the item. Never take chanced here.

Ordinarily I would agree that it would be no big deal to just change one digit on the PO Box number before printing, but after looking at the prices of your recent sales, I might be inclined to play hardball on this one (although the nobody's_perfect suggestion about printing the label as-is and then changing the last digit with a pen sounds workable too).

Basically I wonder how a buyer could be making high-priced coin purchases yet be unable to type his own address correctly (or fix it once he's discovered it). On the other hand, Delivery Confirmation (or Signature Confirmation if it's more than $750) shows only the City and ZIP with the Delivered status; the PO Box number would not be shown so a discrepancy in the number there would not be a factor.

One other thought: some PO Box ZIP codes include the box number in the last 4 digits of the 9-digit ZIP, so you may need to manually modify the ZIP+4 code as well as the PO Box in the address line.
