Ebay will require us to use the shipping method we promised in our listing. I typically list with free parcel select, and when possible I upgrade to either Priority or First class - this involves about 90% of my listings. This is my preference since it is easier to stay within delivery requirements and guests are thrilled that they receive their package sooner, and often they appreciate the courtesy upgrade. I never downgrade the method and always ship out on time. Will I be required to keep the promise of the slower method?

Using a shipping service option faster than what you offered in your listing is very good for buyer experience and is encouraged.

Are they getting rid of the generic ones that say like :
Economy shipping
Standard Shipping
Expeditated Shipping
Becuase I usually just pick standard for everything except media stuff and just kinda ship whatever (parcel, fed ex ground, priority etc) I usually do not know which service will be good for the item until it sells and I package it. Obviously some items I do, but some larger items I will pack differently depedning on location of the buyer buying it etc.
