Here's my problem....I had a buyer cancel out of a sale (actually, 17 sales) after the items had shipped. He claimed "buyers remorse". Since I shipped the box out on my company UPS account I was able to have the package intercepted half way to the destination and returned to me. I will have 2 UPS charges when all said and done. How do I recoup the shipping from the buyer? I refunded 15 of the 17 sales, leaving 2 open so I could issue a partial refund. However when I tried to do that, the form said that the buyer gets to keep the item if I only issued a partial refund. I tried calling eBay for help and was told to try and do a refund through Paypal and withhold the shipping but that won't work on an individual item since Paypal lumped all 17 items into one transaction. Am I just out these fees? I tried being the "good guy" in allowing the refund even though my listings say No Returns. Also, if I just refuse the refund on the last 2 items to cover the shipping costs do I run the risk of bad feedback? He already mentioned "feedback" in one of his many emails so I'm sure that's on his mind. Suggestions? And should I block him when this issue is resolved?

You are at the mercy of the buyer in terms of feedback. Were you upfront with the buyer that you would take the return, but they would have to cover shipping?
You can do a partial refund by sending the buyer a friends and family money amount to their paypal email address. I would only use that option as a last resort (if you can't figure out a way to do it from eBay or paypal transaction). If you do it through eBay, you know that the buyer can't keep the item because you intercepted the package, so why not just do from the eBay screen?

No returns does NOT = no refunds.
You have the items back….refund the buyer and re list them…adding a % to each item to recoup the ups fees.
To block or not is up to you…go with your gut.

if you have no ruturns no refunds you have your items relist them add a % to each item to ups fees

you are the person of your item feedback and returns don so if items say this you are the mercy of this and feedback and everything is there this way it is
