Shipping Labels

Hi Help

When I sell an item and the buyers paid for shipping fees, that money is not going into my checking account or pay pal account, yet when the item is delivered it is taken out of my checking account from pay pal, since not money in pay pal.  I was on the phone for over an hour with ebay shipping labels and asked them where did not money go that the buyer paid for shipping, I am being charged for shipping that the buyer paid for but see no money sent to my account for the cost of shipping . I am so confused, this has happen twice already charging me over 25.00 for shipping on two orders that the buyers paid for that shipping, I print the labels from ebay

If I am doing something wrong could someone please advise..Thanks

Nothing goes into your PAY PAL account anymore.   With MANAGED PAYMENTS money only goes into your checking account.

With MANAGED PAYMENTS  (EBAY selling fees and shipping costs) is deducted immediately (balance is deposited into your checking account 5-7 AFTER purchase is made).   EBAY "holds shipping money for you" so you have funds available to print label.   When you print label (go to bottom of page) and click "use pending funds" (this is money EBAY has been holding for you).

Payouts are notoriously confusing but I can assure you are not "paying twice" for shipping labels.

Go to the order details page  and see what was paid for please...

When you go to the shipping label page, scroll all the way to the bottom.

There you will see the option as to how you want to pay for your shipping labels.

You can choose for the shipping to come out of your PayPal account or your pending funds.

Just set your Shipping form to draw the postage from the buyer's pending funds. You will find the setting for that at the lower left corner of the Shipping form.

The funds themselves are not "pending;" it's the transfer to your bank that's pending. eBay already has the buyer's payment, which is why you can use a portion of it to purchase the shipping on-line.
