Shipping Labels Refunds

I am brand new to selling on ebay so bear with me and still learning how...

I accepted two offers at a lower priced from the same buyer the same day but they also wanted the items shipped together. I accepted the offers before adjusting the shipment as one. I had originally listed Priority Flat Rate as they shipping method for both items. So when I created the invoice I just lower the cost of the shipping by a couple of dollars  to meet the price they wanted to pay, plus combined shipping.

I then took the package today to USPS and just paid the difference of the shipping.

I didn't use the label in the system because it wouldn't have covered the cost of the shipping. I didn't realize I "had" to use the Shipping Label created to cover the cost of the shipping. Can I still void it and get the funds to cover the shipping that I paid at the post office?

Shipping Labels Refunds

You can void it, but you won't be able to get a refund on the cost you paid at the Post Office. Those are "retail" rates and since you bought the label there, that's what you paid. The eBay labels are "commercial" rates, only available online from eBay and any number of online sellers (shippo, pirate ship, stamps, etc.).

Be sure to mark the item as shipped in your sales history and input the tracking number from the label you purchased before your stated handling time runs out.
