Shipping International (First Time)

Hi,

I am rather new to selling on eBay and I just had my first sale to an international customer.  The buyer selected USPS Priority Mail International Padded Flat Rate Envelope as the shipping service.  I am still waiting for the padded envelopes to arrive to me so I can send out the purchased item.  Do I have to send the item in that specific padded envelope? If no, what are my other options.  The buyer paid $38.95 for shipping if that information is of importance

You do not need to actually ship in the Padded FRE,

but you do need to ship Priority Mail International.  

You can use a regular box.

If it costs you more to ship, you cannot ask the buyer for more money.

 No you can ship in any package and affix priority shipping (will be different than flat rate pricing.)

make sure you ship within your stated handling time.
