If I print out my shipping labels on a Friday and Ship on Monday, does this count against me because I don't have a scan on Friday?
My cut off is NOON M-F.
I offer SAME DAY SHIPPING until my cut-off.
Let's say at 1 PM I have a sale and I print out a label and don't ship until the next day where it gets scanned, am I still good?
Last eval period, I had several that were shipped on time but showing scanned late and that put me on probation. I am now waiting until the day that I actually am going to ship it to print the labels because I don't trust the eBay algorithm to be bug-free. Especially around American holidays etc. I have a feeling that the software is written in India...

My understanding and experience is that this will not be a defect.

It is not the print-out date, but the scan date that is your measure point.

I stopped printing shipping during the day before I was going to mail because of buyer expectations. The wording was horrible "your item has shipped" even if you post-dated the label out a day or 3. I think that the wording has changed some, but I'm not going to risk it.
(I might print them at 10 p.m.)
I would never purchase shipping on Friday and ship on Monday.
Otherwise, as long as you have an upload & scan event within your handling time, you're good.
The ones that caused you issues... were the scanned late?
