Has any seller had their shipping details(weight, size, zip code, and shipping carrier) changed to free shipping? This has caused all kind of headaches for me.

In the past it was the wrong weight. Now it has changed the shipping to free. I still haven't straightened this out. Some buyers have worked with me. Others have not. I can't keep doing this. I mostly use my smart phone, and most of my transactions have been smooth. I am not entering the wrong information, I have checked. This happens near the end of the auctions. The frustration is a part of the issue, but loosing money will drive me out.

If the glitch doesn't get fixed then rather than being driven out, why not just offer free shipping?  Add the Zone 8 shipping cost to your opening bid price.

I sell items from 5 oz to 80 pounds maxing out shipping costs would not be fair to customers that are close. I would also lose sales. Is this glitch common? I try to use flat rate but again what I sell doesn't often fit. Also I have tried to package ahead of time so I can post exact details for shipping but it never fails someone asks a question forcing me to open the package. I have delt with the wrong weight, but changing postage needed to free postage is not acceptable. This is a glitch no seller should accept. I pay ebay very well, I expect an acurate service. I expect ebay to give the service they charge for just as ebay charges for that service. It is scary to think the fix is to excuse the ebay algorithom and make purchases more expensive without need.

I glanced through your listings and saw quite  few that offered shipping via First Class package or in a Priority flat rate envelope; those were the ones I had in mind.

You can use free shipping for FC and Priority flat rates as suggested above, and for packages that require calculated shipping maybe you can create those listings on a computer instead of your phone.

YES, the last two OFFER sales charged $0 shipping, which is NOT how it was listed!  Glad I searched to find out!  The one just now SHOULD of has 5.74 in shipping which was left off. I will be paying to complete this sale. How was you handled it? Do I call eBay, do I contact the seller?

Sorry for the late response. I contacted the buyer. I told him to look in my description that said what the shipping charge would be. I canceled the purchase and sent him the corrected invoice. He was happy to pay, that doesn't always workout. I did lose some money to PayPal. I had to put in a request to ebay to give me credit on the canceled purchase. All the information was there. Now I always add in bold type that "if ebay says free shipping that is wrong. Others have said just roll the shipping in with the purchase price. If I add the most expensive shipping charge then I am really over charging anyone close by. To me its easy to let the person know up front what they are paying to me and what for shipping. I also don't charge a handling fee. But if I sell a long wooden ruler I will add the charge up front for a PCV pipe and 2 end caps to ship it safely  so it does not break.  Just make sure everything is in the descriptions. I have noticed when I relist that is when the algorithm kicks in with free shipping. The best bet is once you have entered something new for auction, pull up the add then so you can correct it before someone puts a bid and complains. Honestly I would rather get bad feedback that  loose $60 on shipping because Ebay made the mistake. They 99 times out of a hundred rule for the buyer.  I love global shipping but I don't sell to China anymore. They have broken, lost or confiscated my last 3 shipments. I didn't loose money but the issues hit you a month or more after the global shipping program has taken it. The problem is not the global shipping program but the Chinese postal system. You can restrict to what countries you are willing to sell in. Hope this helps for next time. Good luck, Viteye
