Shipping Calculations

Is anyone else noticing the shipping prices coming up when using the calculated shipping is way high?  Example...14 ounce First class is same as 14 ounce Priority Mail cost.  This cannot be right

Shipping Calculations

The shipping calculator in eBay listings defaults to show the retail price.  For First Class packages, the weight limit is 13 ounces, so if you enter a greater weight, the listing does exactly the same as the Post Office clerk would do: Upgrade the package to Priority Mail.

There are two workarounds: either (1) change your site preferences so that the shipping calculator in your listings shows the eBay label rate, or (2) enter the weight as 13 ounces. Currently the online postage cost for a 13-ounce package is the same as for 15.99 ounces.

Yep, and adding some info for the OP - First Class service is changing in less than 3 months. Check the link in my signature to see how it will be affected.
