Shipper sent package to wrong address,but paypapal ebay wont refund my money and closed my cases

the seller shipped the motherboard on the same street as mine,but wrong address... on dec 2nd. i never received item and opened case ebay and paypal both closed my cases saying item was delivered based. i opened up a case with UPS and confirmed delivery,but to the wrong address? what should i do nexT? small claims court?

You will have to file an appeal with PayPal & provide them proof from UPS that the item was shipped to another address.

Did you provide the correct address when you paid?

Did the seller mistype the house number?

Did UPS mis-deliver to an address different from what was on the label?

I think your main complaint is with UPS if they delivered to an address other than what was shown on the label. Your seller should be able to open a complaint with UPS and obtain reimbursement for their mistake -- or get UPS to retrieve the package.

However, if the seller provided the wrong house number, then your seller needs to refund you and deal with UPS or take the loss.

Have you considered going to the address to get the package? Perhaps ask the local beat cop to accompany you?

As Duchess suggested, I would be asking my neighbor if he really needed a motherboard for xmas. Hopefully you have a good neighbor and they have just been holding it for you.

The same thing happened to me,  Ebay said it was my fault that the seller shipped to wrong address. I lost out 100 bucks. The seller gets item back, I tracked it. I call Ebay and tell them this and get a rude awakening from Ebay about how it is my fault that the item didn't get back to to the seller and was lost, after I tell them I tracked it trough post office tracking and it did go back to them. The seller lies to Ebay that they never got it back, Ebay believes seller and not me. Paypal ignores my case and refuses to try to help me get a refund.  Seller then resells my item and gets more money, a week later. Seller gets away with ripping me off, I never get my money back, plus gets to resell item and get more money.  Ebay made me feel this is all my fault and seller gets away with dishonesty and continues to sell. How is this fair.

i sent eBay and payapl proof that the seller sent to thew wrong address from UPS, they still closed my case, im literally going to take EBAY,PAYPAY,the seller to small claims court. for the item plus wasted time. what a boneheaded organization, I'm on the phone now with pay pal for the ninth time this week, trying to get legal information . basically Payapl and ebay check the areas,code and city the DO NOT CHEck the address

once you file an appeal ,the option on the webpage is greyed out. i had to call the 1800 number and wait on hold to reopen. i have since reopened this case 4 times. each time paypal denies my decision,even tho i emailed them carrier confirmation.

Ive sent both the seller,ebay and paypal the checkout screenshot alongside the slip from UPS showing the delivery address seller picked. they are different.
