Hello, this is my first post,
I am a relatively recent salesperson, and I know that the buyer is usually given advantage over the seller.
I would like to take some doubts, since there is a lot of information and it ends up being confused, if someone could helpe me out, the thing is:
- I have shipped the item with traking number, so far so good, but at some poit the buyer contacted me saying that didn't received the item, after consult the traking i saw "Unknown recipient at address, Recipient notified to lift object in section";"Incorrect or insufficient address, Recipient address under verification"
- After confirming with the seller that the address was correct, did not know why the item had been returned without opening an inquiry, and wait, meanwhile and in order not to harm the buyer I ended up sending another one assuming the expenses.
- The returned item arrived today, says not collected, summarizing the buyer did not get up the item, probably forgot and took advantage of the fact that the services are not conveniently clear, only now I have been sure, should i report him or take the minor damage and forgot everything
tks

AS LONG AS YOU SHIP TO A CONFIRMED ADDRESS YOU ARE COVERED. IF IT IS RETURNED DUE TO BAD ADDRESS IT'S ON THE BUYER, AGAIN ..AS LONG AS YOU SHIP TO A 'CONFIRMED' SHIPPING ADDRESS.

You should have waited until you received the item back and if determined that buyer did not pick up the item, you can offer to reship at his cost oryou are not required to even refund because buyer loses eBay money back guarantee when he does not pick up an item at the P.O. I would have refunded the price of the item only and not reship.
