Shipment fee rate

Hi community

I’ve seen that the shipment rate it’s been increased a lot in last two months specifically to countries from Africa. Some times we are interested to order some item but the shipment cost is very higher almost three times of the price of the item, we don’t know exactly if eBay are doing some adjustments of the shipping cost, but please make the adjustment considered the range that other applicative are doing to order to Africa countries.

Sorry, don't know how shipping works in your location.  But, in the US, shipping costs are not set by eBay, but by the chosen shipper.

The United States Post Office has had several fairly recent fee increases recently, and probably others also.  

Since most shipping is calculated based on the buyer's location, weight of package and class f shipping, yes, I would expect shipping to Africa to cost considerably more than, say, shipping from NY to CA.
