I have come across this problem several times. I pay for an Item, and the seller makes a prellable with a tracking number, but doesn't take it to the post office to be mailed. You try several times to contact the seller, but the seller does not reply. The buyer can't cancel the order because eBay sees it has a tracking Number even though it hasn't been taken to the post office. Now, I have to wait days for my own money to be returned that I could be using it buying from a seller that wants to sell. I have 3 items belonging to the same seller I bought on March the 13th. The label was made on the 13th. Today is the 19th and still the USPS is awaiting my Items. Another Issue I would like to talk about are the eBay gift cards. I'm finding out there is a limit on HOW MUCH YOU CAN SPEND ON TOTAL! As in how much money. We all know eBay gift cards come in a $50.00 card And $25-$200.00 card. It is very convenient for many of us buyers to use these cards., but I found out you can only spend up to a certain amount. It's either $500-$1,000.00 a month. Then your eBay card you bought will no longer be expected as payment till the next month. WHY? What really makes the difference when the seller gets his/her money, the buyer gets the Item they want AND eBay GETS THEIR CUT! Can someone Please explain this to me where it makes any kind of valid sense?

I don't know anything about eBay gift cards, but regarding your first point... does the item listing give you any sense of the seller's shipping timeframe?
Sellers can set their handling time to any number of days they wish.
Was that information available to you before you made your purchase?

Regarding eBay gift cards:
"No more than a total of $1000 in Gift Cards may be redeemed per day, and no more than a total of $1500 in Gift Cards may be redeemed per calendar month. Further, you may only redeem a maximum of four Gift Cards in any single transaction (and fewer if you are redeeming Gift Cards in combination with other redemption codes, such as coupons or vouchers)."

For the items still not being taken to the post office, it could be that the seller printed the label (that's when you probably received the email from eBay) and then took it to the post office but just left it on the counter without waiting in line for a scan and receipt, or they requested a pick up from their postal carrier, and the carrier did not scan it when they picked it up. Some sellers don't wait in line, and some carriers don't scan picked up pkgs.
I know some sellers also use scan forms, but that does not register as "accepted" by USPS and others do a self-scan at a kiosk, but I'm not sure those items are considered "accepted" by the USPS either.
Once the item gets into the USPS system, they usually get scanned somewhere along the way, but not always. Some don't show up in the system until they're marked delivered. Others get delivered and are never marked as such.
Finally, there's the eBay envelope that doesn't get the regular scans and tracking that other trackable items at least used to get before things started going downhill at the USPS.
The USPS is having major issues. I've also read on an eBay Facebook group post where several people's items were not getting scan updates. So maybe, it's a problem with the USPS scan reporting system. You can sign up for updates from the USPS if you set up an account with them.
I know nothing about gift cards.

Can't speak for the rest of the gang, but, before I make a purchase, I check the estimated delivery date.
If that date will work for me, and most of the time it will, I go ahead, order and pay.
I don't follow the tracking or anything else. If that EDD arrives and I don't yet have the item, I might check tracking. If it appears to be moving through the system, I give it a few more days; otherwise, I will open an item not received case. I don't usually contact the seller.
Guess I'm just an odd duck, huh?

Ahh, yes. As far as his time frame, no he has none, states none, and if it happens that he did I'm sure out of the two different emails, on each item, on separate days, he would had replied back to let me know. The ETA was to be the 21st of this month. I've been through this before with a few sellers. You ask for a cancellation , but because they have a tracking number, It's a no can do. If you get a heartbeat to talk to they say,( well there's a tracking number, you have to wait till this amount of time because it still may be on the way) even though the Item was never mailed. It's the ones like this that make it bad for everyone else. This person has only 34 sales to their name so far, but 100% feedback. There is a certain respect that should be between the buyer and the seller and the seller to the buyer that is just disappearing. I've been a member since 2014. I've seen a lot of changes and Money is the root of all evil. Thanks for replying.

Thank you for that, but still the same it sucks and I feel should be changed to unlimited and like I said the first time,,,,,,THE SELLER GETS HIS MONEY,,,,,,,,,,,,THE BUYER GETS HIS WANTED ITEM,,,,,,,AND EBAY GETS THEIR CUT! What is the problem?

What is the problem?
Not everyone that uses a gift card is honest. So there are limits to prevent some of the worst abuses, while still allowing most users to be able to use gift cards.

The problem is that criminals acquire gift cards through scams and theft to the tune of hundreds of millions a year. These limits are eBays attempt to make cashing them in more difficult for these thieves and criminal organizations.
I'm not sure why you feel the need to pay so much with gift cards, you lose many of your buyer protections by using them..

WHY DOES NO ONE KNOW ABOUT GIFT CARDS? LORD HAVE I"M GOING TO HAVE TO SCHOOL YOU ALL ON THEM. or eburtonlab. I can explain what they are and eburtonlab can tell you how much you can spend. But now back to this issue, I hear what your saying, but when you have 3 Items, bought on the same day, from the same seller, in two different boxes, label /tracking number made for all two boxes. You track that number only for it to say USPS awaiting packages. So you wait a day or two for the same outcome. So you call USPS, nothing can be found. You email your seller. Twice. no reply the first time. No reply the 2nd day. Two separate emails on two different days. No response. But I do hear what you are saying. Most sellers would go out of their way to respond to a situation like this one. To THE REAL SELLERS, WHO TREAT THE BUYER WITH ALL THE RESPECT and the seller right back to them, They would themselves be a REAL SELLER! and my hats off to you all! This one however is NOT.
